Z3 Institute Welcomes Joseph Schwartz and Hussein Aboubakr Mansour as Adjunct Fellows
David H.—The Z3 Institute is expanding! We are thrilled to welcome Joseph Schwartz and Hussein Aboubakr Mansour to our growing roster of fellows at the Z3 Institute of Jewish Priorities.
I’ve known Joe Schwartz for years as a deep thinker, passionate Jew and Zionist, and a wise and creative analyst. He’ll be working on a study of Jews and cities—why we are so attracted to urban life, what it reveals about us, and how we have contributed to societies through them.
Hussein is a newer friend, a brilliant scholar, who will be researching the “green” side of the modern antisemitic radical Left, also known as the “red-green alliance.” In the tradition of scholars like Bernard Lewis and Fouad Ajami, Hussein looks deep into the rise of jihadism in the Arab world and its surging influence in Western countries.
Both of their bios are below. Welcome aboard!
